Many professional hockey clubs are incorporating Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy into their programs

Hockey players are bigger, stronger and faster today than they were a decade ago.   The hits are harder and more frequent. Over a long, rigorous regular season schedule, the frequency of injuries and level of fatigue play a large role in determining the success of any team at the end of the regular season and in the playoffs.

The use of hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBO2) has been used in sports for several years as an integral part of the rehabilitation of athletes suffering from injuries. The use of HBO2has proven to be effective and its role has been defined. Effectiveness has been demonstrated in a wide range of injuries and recovery from fatigue with pro sports teams and winter Olympic teams.
