Conductive Education

Conductive Education works on the brain to change the body. Participants are taught skills and techniques to help them overcome the challenges of their disability – they learn how to apply these strategies to their everyday life, becoming more independent.

Conductive Education® or CE , is an intensive educational approach, based on the work of Hungarian Professor András Pető, that has been specifically developed for children and adults who have motor disorders of neurological origin such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and other motor challenges. CE combines physical rehabilitation and education to help children and adults with neurological motor disorders. Conductive Education works on the brain to change the body. Participants are taught skills and techniques to help them overcome the challenges of their disability – they learn how to apply these strategies to their everyday life, becoming more independent.

Practioners of CE undergo a comprehensive University-based training program graduating primarily from two schools one located in the UK and the other located in Hungary.
