T\u00e9moignages<\/span><\/h1>[vc_column_text]In April, we began an amazing journey into hyperbaric oxygen treatments for our son, Joseph. The plan was to receive 40 treatments; 5 days a week for 8 weeks. We had no preconceived notions as to what the results would be, yet hoped his gross motor functions would improve.<\/p>\n

Ce fut effectivement le cas en 2012 lorsque j’ai eu une double mastectomie avec reconstruction pour un cancer du sein.<\/p>\n

Puis en novembre 2016, j’ai fait une rechute du cancer au sein avec cette fois-ci des m\u00e9tastases au cerveau, aux poumons et aux os. J’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de reprendre des s\u00e9ances hyperbare pour garder les cellules canc\u00e9reuses d’oxyg\u00e8ne (on sait qu\u2019elles ne peuvent pas survivre en milieu oxyg\u00e9ner) et pour aider \u00e0 r\u00e9parer mes os.<\/p>\n

We saw improvement in eye contact, awareness, sociability, his more calm and no more so hyperactive, begun to have joint attention and social referencing, developed an interests in crafts (painting, crayons, markers, playdough).<\/p>\n

HBOT brought language for my son, first he developed his receptive language and then begun to say single words, combine 2 to 5 words, this is where we are, he’s just turned 4.<\/p>\n

We did more than 100 dives and plan to continue this treatment as it has shown long lasting improvements every time we did a round.<\/p>\n

Though the commute was difficult at the beginning, Maya and I adjusted very quickly and started enjoying our daily trip \u2013 especially when we started listening to her CDs. Now every morning she wants to come, she gets her hat and heads to the car.<\/p>\n

I started seeing some improvements in the way Maya is interacting with us \u2013 actually many of our friends who saw her \u201cbefore and after\u201d are impressed by the change in how she looks at them or greets them. I\u2019ve also noticed that she plays more spontaneously, she goes by herself to get her toys \u2013 mostly puzzles.\u00a0\u00a0 Pointing and choosing from two items were very hard to teach (over the last six years), but were unblocked during the very first weeks. Ce qui d\u00fb arriver arriva… je me suis casser la jambe droite (impossible de conduire) et subi une op\u00e9ration pour reconstruire mon tibia et le p\u00e9r\u00e9n\u00e9. Ce qui m’a valu une convalescence de 6 mois. J’\u00e9tais d\u00e9moli… mon entreprise ne peut fonctionner sans ma pr\u00e9sence quotidienne.<\/p>\n

Un ami dans le sport du motocross m’avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 parl\u00e9 du Centre Hyperbare de l’Ile, son traitement l’avait aider \u00e0 retrouver une meilleure forme suite \u00e0 un accident. Donc, j’en ai parl\u00e9 \u00e0 mon docteur avant m\u00eame de quitter l’h\u00f4pital. Laissez-moi vous dire que les m\u00e9decins ne vantent aucunement les m\u00e9rites de ce genre de traitement. Mon docteur m’a dit que c’\u00e9tait inutile…<\/p>\n

En sortant de l’h\u00f4pital, j’ai contact\u00e9 le Centre, car je devais mettre tous les chances de mon c\u00f4t\u00e9. La responsable du Centre (une vrai perle) a chang\u00e9 son horaire et m’a demand\u00e9 de me pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 d\u00e8s le lendemain. Elle a insist\u00e9 sur trois traitements la premi\u00e8re semaine et aux moins deux autres par semaine pour le premier mois si possible. Cette dame a ferm\u00e9 le Centre plus tard, ouvert plus t\u00f4t le matin pour me permettre d’avoir un traitement rapidement. On m’a accueilli avec gentillesse et je sentais qu’on voulait vraiment m’aider.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s trois traitements, ma jambe \u00e9tait compl\u00e8tement d\u00e9senfl\u00e9e! Je pouvais litt\u00e9ralement enlever mon pl\u00e2tre, ce que je n’ai pas fait! Et j’ai encha\u00een\u00e9 les rendez-vous tel que conseill\u00e9 par La Perle pour les trois semaines suivantes. Et je dois vous dire, que mes deux tendinites aux \u00e9paules sont aussi disparues avec le traitement. Pouf!!! Plus de douleur!<\/p>\n

Conclusion, cela fait maintenant 8 semaine que j’ai subi ma blessure et je viens de revoir mon docteur… Il m’a donn\u00e9 le ok de remettre par progression tout mon poids sur ma jambe d’ici un mois. J’ai pass\u00e9 d’un arr\u00eat de travail des six mois \u00e0 trois mois, en plus puisque la douleur c’est estomp\u00e9e rapidement, j’ai pu me pr\u00e9senter au travail quelques heures par jours pour suivre la progression du travail par mes employ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Le Centre Hyperbare de l’Ile, a chang\u00e9 ma perception des choses, des traitements, des m\u00e9dicaments, … Cette m\u00e9thode a \u00e9t\u00e9 pour moi une grande r\u00e9ussite, mon corps va mieux, mes petits bobos sont disparus et je n’ai plus \u00e0 prendre des antidouleurs comme auparavant.<\/p>\n
